If you look at the channel description for the destination that occupies the #1 spot in this week’s ranking of the top 50 most viewed channels on YouTube, you will find a quote that reads, “Music can change the world.” Those words are particularly apt this week, as several hubs connected to international music stars climbed toward the top of our weekly global chart.
The quote I mentioned above can be found on the T-Series YouTube channel, right next to a line of copy that dubs the hub “India’s largest Music Label & Movie Studio.” Based on T-Series’ viewership data, there’s at least some truth to that assertion. Over seven days, T-Series videos received 970.1 billion views, the largest raw total of any YouTube channel over that time.
Three American channels catering to YouTube’s youngest viewers followed right behind T-Series in positions two, three, and four. The second-largest viewership of the week belonged to Kids Diana Show, which moved up from #4 after seeing its traffic jump by 21% over the previous seven days. In total, it received 875.4 million weekly views.
Next up in the chart is Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes, which came in third this week after claiming the top spot for much of 2020. The California-based animation hub received 799.8 million weekly views during our most recent measurement period.
Following closely behind Cocomelon is Vlad and Niki, another channel that aclaimed the global chart’s #1 position earlier in the year. This week, it slots in at #4, despite an impressive seven days in which it accrued 786.8 million views.
For the second week in a row, the channel rounding out the top five is SET India. The Sony-owned South Asian entertainment destination secured 560.2 million weekly views, bringing its lifetime total above 62 billion.
One channel that broke into the top 50 this week, after previously finding itself on the outside looking in, was YRF. Those three letters stand for Yash Raj Films, a film studio and music label based in Mumbai. Many of the videos on the YRF channels are clips from the studio’s pictures, including many of the elaborate song-and-dance numbers for which Bollywood is world-famous. The most recent video on the channel at the time of this post is a music video from Meri Pyaari Bindu, a romantic comedy released by YRF in 2017.
Another recent hit suggests that YRF is more than just movies. The music video for the song “Attitude,” which features singer Raman Romana and Pakistani-American rapper Bohemia, has received more than 12.6 million views on YouTube. It is one of several Bohemia music videos that can be found on the YRF channel.
YRF’s weekly totals on YouTube include 123.9 million total views, which represents a 44% increase over the previous week. As a result, YRF jumped from 88th place in our global chart all the way up to 40th place.
Here’s a breakdown of the Top 50 Most Viewed channels this week in terms of their countries of origin:
- United States: 18 channels in the Top 50.

- Russia: 3 channels in the Top 50.
